Redford Crop Walk is in the spring. Those interested sign up to walk, get donations (either on-line or in hand), and walk a 5K or 10K the day of the walk. We alternate the hosting churches between north end one year and south end the next year. This year (2009) St. Robert Bellarmine will host the event.

In 2007 the Crop Walk raised $8300. St. Robert’s had 26 walkers and raised $1530.

In 2008 the Crop Walk raised about $10,000 (the final numbers are not in yet) St. Robert’s raised $2430 with 19 walkers.

This year we added the on-line donations, which seemed to help a lot.
25% of all money raised in Redford stays in Redford and goes to Redford Interfaith Relief.

In 2009 we hope to have more walkers and raise even more money. If you can’t walk, we will be in need of workers for the event. More information will follow as we get closer to the event.
