Book Club (a.k.a. Heart to Heart Book Club) members read a Christian fiction novel each month. Then members discuss the book’s Christian view of the struggles, situations, etc. in the book and how it impact life in general.

We meet the fourth month of the month in the Meeting Center at 7:00 p.m.

The September book selections are
 
"The Penny Whistle" by B.J. Hoff (ISBN 1-55661-877-8)
"The Penny Whistle" is about a teacher in a coal-mining town who's health is declining. 
 His health seems to be linked to his flute...which was stolen.  
Two schoolgirls devise a childish but sincere plan to save their kind teacher.

"Mercy Me" by Margaret Graham (ISBN0-8007-5873-0)
"Mercy Me" is about a high-spirited widow whose unpretentious, 
down-to-earth manner will impress the reader.  
Her strong faith shines as she shares her past with her 
best friend and her Sunday school class.

Book Club will meet this month on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 7-9 p.m. in the meeting center.

Most of these selections can be found in the church library as members donate the book after we have read them. We also did a member review of the books that can be found in the library also.
